Released my mom with an infection that took her life within 72 hours
My Mom was in severe pain, spent 24 hours in the emergency room because no beds available, completely understand. However they released her with an infection that ultimately took her life within 72 hours of being released. I took her to UCI in Orange County and they worked on her the best they could. They had her in ICU, they DID everything they could possibly do but wasn’t enough time to control the infection. This is so outrageous!

Chose any other hospital but this one and you might get help or respect
If you want to stay sick, come here. If you want bad service, nurses who think pain is funny, come here. If you want to be a number lined up against the wall with no privacy, dignity or respect come here. If you like getting worse with your condition while staff sit around on their phones, RECORDING PATIENTS who are difficult but clearly in a bad mental state, COME HERE!!! They violate peoples privacy, nurses and EMTs i watched record elder patients having fits, I watched as they laughed and joked about patients in pain or crying FORGETTING to provide meds and tests ordered just so they could clock out. This place was always known as the hospital you go to to die. May have changed the name to Providence but its still the same hospital. Oh and the lab tech Leah is the MOST RUDEST PERSON I HAVE EVER MET IN MY LIFE AND SHOULD THE WORKING THERE. JUST RUDE WONT LOOK AT YOU WHEN U SPEAK OR ASK QUESTIONS, NOTHING. She won't explain what she is doing or why or what labs are for every two hours. . Some people should just go home and work somewhere else. But then again, perfect hospital!!!!

I’m a grieving mother having to deal with unprofessional drs
Unfortunately I had a still birth march 12 of 2026 the father made cremation arrangements I was told they can take 48hrs to sign the death certificate or they could get their licenses removed however it’s now may 19th and the cremation facility has yet to have contact with the dr to sign it we have been given excuses and the coroners have also reached out twice putting me in distress for my daughters ashes. This is inexcusable I’m a grieving mother having to deal with unprofessional drs that aren’t able to sign their name to put my daughter at rest. I truly hope they review there professionalism and get to WORK! Her NAME IS ATHENA BUNTON AND SHE MATTERS! As a Christian I’ll pray but as a mother I hope u feel that pain.

Need to treat people with more dignity
I understand waiting, being patient, being understanding of how busy the emergency room is but to have staff be rude, demeaning, talked down to, not treated with dignity as if they're doing charity work helping people in need, is a very terrible environment to feel like you can't even ask a question without someone responding in a short manner, its definitely not the same hospital anymore

Avoid this place if you value your health and sanity
This ER is absolutely terrible. Not only do they overcharge for every little thing, but the wait times are absurd. We spent over 8 hours waiting in the hallway, and for a good portion of that, we had to stand because there were no seats available. Worst of all, you never actually see a real doctor—only med students who have no idea how to properly diagnose anything. It’s a waste of time, money, and energy.

They only got 1 star because you can't give 0 stars!
I would not recommend the Emergency Department to anyone ever!!! We took our 5 year old daughter, only to be sent home because it was something "Viral". Her heart rate was at 160BPM and her fever was 102.7 as we were sent home, only to be admitted to another hospital two days later with Pneumonia and a Pleural infusion. This could have been caught, yet my daughter is in the hospital in severe pain and distress. Nothing a five year old should ever have to endure due to the lack of care and compassion from a group of doctors only looking to make a buck and push patients out like a hamburger stand!
