Just the rate of professionalism at this facility was not acceptable
If I could give 0 stars I would. I have had the worse experiences with Sentara in this area. I was having chest pains and my arm was hurting, ear red and hot so I decided to go to the emergency room on Sunday. They acted like they did not care, no passion, no urgency, no nothing. I get they probably get some rude patients, but not everyone is like that. Respect is earned when given with a simple hello and a passion that they at least might care about the job that they do. I work in customer service and I would never treat my clients even though it is a different type of business. I was still a patient that will receive a bill for the disgusting service I received at this location.

I called the state and I have so much to put out
I hope they experience the issue with their family or worst for doing this to someone else's family. Oh and I will update this review. I even have proof that when my sister wanted to be changed it took 15 minutes before she was helped I was there for that. Some of these people don't need their license snatched. I have made a complaint with the patient advocate and I feel like that's being taken as a joke also. I am going to get a copy of her medical records and follow through with the next steps. Oh just got a call and I was told I was aggressive with their staff which I wasn't. They feel like that because I said I was calling state APS and the CEO. I'm over the nonsense of this place.

Don't go here unless you only need a bandaid.
This hospital is a joke and not a real hospital. My wife has a broken nose and can barely breath. Went to the Emergency room and was told by the doctor they don't reset a broken nose or do anything for them. They told her she would need to go see a specialist after it heals to break it again to align it. The time to align it is now before it heals. Not after if heals. The doctor told her that her primary care physician would need to refer her to a specialist. My wifes primary care physician told her to go to the emergency room. EMTs call this hospital Sentera Scareplex because of the lack of their ability to do anything and you can definitely see that if you go here

Looked after my mom the way a dog would look after a dead mouse
My mom came to Sentara & didn’t eat the entire time. She was there for about 3/4 days. Do you think they noticed or cared. Nope, she came home and died a few days later. Don’t bother with the heartless response on how I can reach out to an 1-800 number or patient’s advocate services (no such thing). I just wanted to express how horrible this hospital is and hope this never happens to anyone else.

My mother’s information was all wrong in their system
This ER is a joke. No one knows anything of what’s going on. I have talked to multiple people about my concerns and no one gives me any answers they tell me they will get back to me and nothing. This is horrible!

Messed my kidney function up
The people at this place gave me a shot that messed my kidney function up i believe and cause me a lot of distress
