So little empathy, so cold hearted
No compassion. My brother and I traveled from New Jersey to stay the night with our mother who is 92 years old, she has dementia, Alzheimer’s, severe anxiety, she cannot hear. She needs care 24/7 because of her condition. They told us that only one person can stay the night at 10:30 pm. I told them that I cannot take care of her by myself cleaning her, picking her up , moving her and if they would allows us both to stay, besides it was to late to drive to New Jersey. I talked to three nurses- they told me no. My brother had to leave the hospital that late at night to drive almost 2 hours to New Jersey.

The 900 dollar co-pay! What a joke!
I was in the ER last week and twice had to get up to ask for a nurse or doctor and waited 10-15 minutes each time...How about staff enough nurses so your patients can be attended to? I also was told I was to be admitted overnight and waited 3.5 hours in the ER...The staff itself was excellent to me but the person pushing the buttons who wants to line their wallets by not paying enough medical staff is the issue...Will never go here again.

You could at least act like you give a $hit
The ER let me sit there for over 5 hours with a heart rate of over 120, rocking back and forth in pain from COVID and when I tried to tell someone my pain was 100x worse than when I came in, to the point I could barely walk and was breaking out in a rash - I was told to sit back down and someone would call me. I ended up walking out because, you guessed it: no one ever called me. No one even had the decency to tell me my test results, I had to read them myself on MyChart.

#INHUMANE #HORRIBLEHOSPITAL #HORRIBLEPEOPLE
They discharged and left a disabled, paralyzed, wheelchair bound man in the street, and in the rain, with no phone, at 3:00 am in the morning on a Saturday in the dark at his future apartment - knowing that the apt wasn't ready to accept him until Monday AND knowing that he had no place to go!!!

Stripped me down naked to search me for drugs
I'LL NEVERRR COME HERE AGAIN!!! I came in to the ER because my ankle was swollen and they stripped me down naked to search me for drugs because I used drugs in the past! So should I have lied to them to not get naked?!? And they told me it's "company policy" but why won't they show me where it says that?!?! I should've listened to people around here and never came here!!

I do not recommend Methodist ER.
I was a patient here Sunday 7/30 and the nurse who did my EKG was very rude and disrespectful to me, downright abusive. I couldn't believe how she was speaking to me as I was very sick. She was very unprofessional and lacked all people-skills. Overall my quality of care was low in the ER except for the person doing my ultrasound.

Playing games on the computers while sick people need help
Terrible Hospital, my boss went to the ER for an infection in his leg. They saw everyone ahead of him even people who got there after him. He waited 3 hours and finally left because they told him he had to wait because he wasn't sick enough to go ahead of anyone. Pennsylvania Hospital took him back right away because the infection was so bad. They admitted him into the hospital to try to stop the infection from spreading to his heart. You all should be ashamed of yourself and maybe stop playing games on the computers while sick people need your help.
