They stripped me of dignity and made me feel violated
I came into the hospital concerned about possible amniotic fluid leakage - a serious issue, especially after experiencing a miscarriage in the past. From the moment I interacted with the RN and Dr., I felt completely dismissed, judged, and disrespected. The fake smirks, side-eyes, and overall demeanor made it clear I was being treated like a burden, not a patient. This was especially apparent when I brought up decreased fetal movement and was blatantly denied an ultrasound. Since when is a mother concerned about her unborn child met with eye rolls and whispers? I found absolutely nothing funny - I was terrified, vulnerable, and desperate for reassurance. Instead, I was made to feel like a nuisance. During the cervical exam, I was not informed how long the swab would remain inserted. When I instinctively went to close my legs from discomfort, they looked at each other, visibly annoyed, and physically moved my legs apart without compassion - saying, “No, you need to open,” like I was a problem to deal with.

There is no humanity in this hospital
Dont come here if you don’t have at least 5 hours to just sit in the waiting room!!! I’ve had to bring my children here to the ER twice and both times have been pretty severe issues and they just have us sit in the waiting room for hours on end with no communication and crying sick in pain kids and when we do finally get called back the care is sub par and still slow. My daughter has an auto immune disorder and they still make her sit in the same room as all the other sick people while she waits to feel better instead of getting a private room where she doesn’t have to be exposed to other people’s sickness or judgment because she is crying and doesn’t feel good. There is no compassion for sick babies and tired patients who don’t want to be stared at or left in the dark on what is happening with their child’s care.

Go anywhere else
My son was pushed off twice in a matter of weeks to find he needed his severely infected gallbladder removed the following morning after a round of intravenous antibiotics Came back four days after surgery in severe pain to wait in the waiting room for hours. Uncaring staff. Strongly advise you reconsider coming here

Paid my $200 copay and I got a surprise bill in the mail
I went through the emergency services a month ago, paid my $200 copay and I got a surprise bill in the mail from their radiology department saying I owe them another almost $200 for services rendered. Radiology is protected by law as is emergency services from surprise billing

As a healthcare worker this is the absolute worst ED
Myself, my brother, and my spouse have gone to this ER late at night. Around 11pm-2am with critical issues. When I say as a healthcare worker that this is the absolute worst ED I’ve ever experienced, I mean it. NOTHING IS TAKEN SERIOUSLY. Malpractice. Medical Gaslighting. You name it. Does patient care decline because of a shift change? RNs, PAs, DRs… no one’s held accountable clearly. GET THE ED TOGETHER. Don’t give me a patient line to call because clearly that isn’t working for anybody here. Fix your ED. Malpractice and medical gaslighting… unethical. I DONT THINK SHIFT CHANGE IS AN EXCUSE FOR LAZINESS AND MALPRACTICE.
