Great doctor, horrible nurses!
The rooms are dirty and need updates. Nurses did not provide good care. Very disappointed! Don’t take your loved ones here or you will regret it!

I was told they had to chart first then they would get to her
My daughter had liver transplant. The doctors are good but tge nursing staff is to short handed to give proper care. The doctor said I needed to advocate for her which just gets me treated badly. They wont let ne get her up and didn't get in to take her to the bathroom. She soiled her self and sat in it for 10 minutes while people walked in and walked out. Being infection is a big deal for a liver transplant patient I do not believe this is a good thing. When I went out and said something I was told they had to chart something first but they would get to her. Very unacceptable in my book. Management if this hospital needs to get more people to take care of patients. If not then quit all the advertisements about how great they are. Not the case!!

Charges more than 5x the amount of the typical procedure cost
If it’s typically $200, they charge $1000. They do not care about you or your wellbeing, they just care about getting the most money out of you possible. If you decide to go here (not recommended) just say you don’t have health insurance and they will give you the real cost instead of the price gouged cost.

I would never ever recommend going to IU Health
This hospital in University Blvd is an absolute joke. u actually share a room but u also share a shower with the room next door. About 15 mins before my husband arrived the gentleman from the room next to me came through the shower through my room butt naked and asked if I was gonna take a shower. Not to mention the temperature control was broken in my room and the room was well over 85 degrees.

Don’t send you loved ones to this hospital for care
We brought our mother there to get the care she needed a the nurses was not bathing her and she had the worst rash ever from them not rotating her. She has cancer or had cancer the basically left her to die. They said their was nothing else they could do but shoot her with an extra shot of chemo when they knew it was gone harm her then apologized for it said if they would’ve known. They also don’t communicate with other doctors or nurses.

Justice for Susan Moore, MD
Let a woman, who was a medical doctor, die in pain because not only would they not listen to her; they wouldn’t treat her properly because she wasn’t white. Stay away.

This hospital is so disgusting and filthy
My dad was airlifted here after being diagnosed with cancer. I don't know how they aren't shut down. It's very unsanitary. My dad had a surgery done and was shoved in a small room. It took 3 days after being admitted to find out he had pneumonia. His monitors were going off for quite some time before anyone checking on him and when he called the nurse would answer but take awhile to come help. They still haven't even discussed treatment options with him the people working here aren't very friendly at all they walk around with looks on their face like they hate it there. I Do Not Recommend sending a loved one here.

Gave my contact information FOUR times because staff kept losing it some how. They also didn't feed my spouse, not even nutrient fluids.

Employees detest working it and the patients pay
Not enough beds, not enough staff and on top of it most employees detest working there. The only redeeming quality is it's only 30 more minutes to drive to community in Anderson. My last ER visit I walked in with a dislocated finger to a room with 19 people in front of me with the guy in front of me had already been there 6 hours. The nurses were stressed and overwhelmed. The hospital didn't have any Free beds upstairs to move the er patients into so they were stuck at a standstill. I left drove 30 minutes to comunity hospital in Anderson. I had 1 patient waiting when I walked in. Within 10min I was intaked and in a room. In another 10 minutes I was in x-ray and 30 minutes from that my finger was relocated and rexrayed before I was discharged barely 2.5 hours from when I walked in the doors. When I got back home 3.5 hours from when I left I just wished Ball hospital had some local competition to force them to get on their toes. Ball hospital does not do an expendiant job, ever.
