When will something change????
My dad had emergency surgery by a very caring on call surgeon at 4am. From there went to CCU. Unfortunately it goes horrible wrong from there. Nasty and rude X-Ray tech, nasty and rude desk clerks, lazy and disrespectful NA's. You pay to get good care. You expect to get treated with dignity and respect. You expect people to do the job they are getting paid to do. You expect to be handled with great care. Unfortunately this is NOT happening. No one is held accountable for what they are not doing. This kind of behavior just can't continue in your hospital or any other. Health care is very expensive. Our loved ones mean everything to us and they should be handled with great care. WHERE DID THINGS GO SO HORRIBLY WRONG!!! Why are we allowing this to go on in hospitals. Everyone will get sick and we will always need a place to go to get help.........

You let a poor, kind woman suffer immensely for the last couple months of her life
My mom died a painful death from metastatic cancer because the your hospital and ER doctor couldn't be bothered to do a thorough analysis of my mother after she had been hospitalized twice within a month. The first time she went, i told them what I thought it may be, and they didn't even do any testing to check. Her bloodwork was all over the place, and her liver function was clearly being affected, but they couldn't be bothered to look into it further. There were lesions found on her liver during the second visit and NOTHING WAS SAID TO US ASIDE FROM FOLLOW UP WITH YOUR DOCTOR. SHAME ON YOU. While I recognize she likely would have died anyways, you couldn't be bothered to ACTUALLY LISTEN TO HER CHIEF COMPLAINT AND CARE. She was in massive amounts of pain for the last few months of her life no thanks to you telling her she was just getting old and to take a naproxen (almost literally word for word). There is a SERIOUS problem with health care. As a worker myself, I KNOW those doctors are packing their schedules to get more money. I get that people misuse the emergency room and it's irritating. I get that you can just get in the habit of going through the motions. BUT THAT SHOULD NOT EFFECT YOUR LEVEL OF CARE REGARDLESS. TO REITERATE.... SHAME ON YOU. I hope you take a good look and figure out how you can improve your patient quality of care. You let a poor, kind woman suffer immensely for the last couple months of her life and I will NEVER forgive you for that.

No emergency in the emergency room
Doctor Teff that happened to be on duty the night we unfortunately had to go there was not only extremely rude and unprofessional 0 bedside manner that my husband lied said he felt better just to get out of there. She did absolutely nothing to help him while he was in distress. She said to him " what do you want me to do, run up and down the hallway in a panic "He went in with chest pain she treated him for ibs with no testing to come up with that diagnosis. Go somewhere else!

I still think about the way I was neglected here
This hospital accused me of lying for narcotics when I actually had one of the most debilitating long covid cases university of Michigan has ever seen. I have been deeply traumatized by the medical gaslighting I experienced here as I suffered inhumane symptoms alone at age 24. It’s been 4 years, I am on disability for long covid today.

I was discharged still not being able to breathe
I went to the ER because I was having issues breathing. I was admitted but misdiagnosed by Mark Alrais and Clarissa Dass. They were not listening to me and based my care off of an xray taken at Royal Oak in July 1994. I was discharged two days later , still not being able to breathe. I went to another hospital where they listened and correctly diagnosed me. I was at the 2nd hospital 11 days. Run from this hospital.
