I wish I had known cat scans done $21k for me and $8-10k for my husband
I am incredibly disappointed by the service here. My husband and I came in to be evaluated after being in a car accident. He came by ambulance. I came as a passenger and checked in. We both were experiencing some whiplash type injuries. I wish I had known before having cat scans done that the price would be $21k for me and $8-10k for my husband. I would have canned the evaluation and gone home and pursued other treatment instead. The driver who hit us was underinsured, so we have to foot the bill after our $10k in PIP run out. And our health insurance is not going to cover all of the leftover. It feels criminal to run procedures on clearly coherent patients without informing them what the cost will be. And if you can't be exact, you can give a ballpark. It should be against the law to just dole services out without informing patients of the costs that were clearly were not expecting. We were walking around, no blood, no visible bruising, or broken bones... They didn't do a physical examination of my back or head... We were in a place to have a simple conversation about cost before proceeding.

Very dissatisfied and disillusioned.!!!
Waited over 2days to have MRI. It is inconceivable how a class to trim center does not have sufficient MRI facilities to have MRI done in a reasonable period of time.

The worst experience in the world!
The case manager Sherry and the social worker Anna are the worst health workers they have. My son was hospitalized for 1 month in the trauma area and these ladies committed to finding all the resources and help for him. Indicating that he would receive them when he was discharged. Then they sent him to a rehab center and they did nothing! They didn't even answer the calls. Now he doesn't have any help! What kind of case managers and social workers are they that do not have empathy and compassion for patients, throwing them out on the street without a discharge plan? thanks to the other clinic (Kindred hospital) where they have given him help. People like that can’t work with persons in needs!!

Felt uncomfortable when made me sit with just a gown with other people
Nurses were very rude in the ER. Drew blood in triage immediately when I got there and then there was a problem with it the nurse tried 2 more times once I got into a room was getting ready to go for a 4th time when the doctor showed up and was like I didn't order blood work I don't know why your trying to get blood from her. I was there for bronchitis. I had bruises from middle of my thumb all the way down to middle of my forearm from them trying to get blood. Let alone they made me put a gown on for X-ray then came in and demanded I leave the room and go sit in this sitting area with other people which in my opinion was a violation of my hippa rights. Only once I complained it did the nurse go well if you're that uncomfortable you can go put your clothes back on. I will never go to this hospital again! I will die on the sidewalk outside before I go back in.

Seemed to not care
This was not my first experience in this ER and I can firmly say nothing has changed. The entire staff was apathetic and unhelpful and seemed to not care for anything or believe anything i said. i was given one medication there for inflammation and was not sent home with anything else. they completely blew me off when i was crying in pain and told me to take advil at home for pain. however, if advil had been helping my pain, i wouldn’t have been in the ER in the first place. I should have at least received discharge meds for the inflammation but I was blown off instead. I’m currently a nursing student and this is the last place I would ever want to work nor would I recommend it to any patient. Maybe consider training employees to treat people with basic human decency.
