I've had terrible experiences with Banner Boswell and Thunderbird!
Most recently at T bird. You send a lady in to a woman's room who is in comfort care for $$??. She was barely coherent, and you're trying to get her to sign a paper, or make a promise to pay?? No class!! Ensures why I will never do business with Banner!!

How can you go and do surgery without letting the family know
So my father in law was there In that hospital what a place not cool we find out later on that he had surgery that we didn't know about they didn't even tell us anything about surgery at least they should have call and ask us about the surgery and also that he got some kind of sickness over there that we also didn't know about. We get him back to the nursing home on the reservation and theg didn't know either about it the doctor there was looking thru his discharge paperwork and found that out he thought we know about it and we told him no ugh that got us mad

The Emergency Group on Sunday 12/07/25 2:00pm totally sucks
They are rude and Bit.... They either are on A Bad Mood or Racist. My mom's blood pressure is super high she's not feeling well and she is 75 yrs old and they are not taking care of her Am very scared for my mom I don't know what to do rt now I so want to cry

Unbelievable
I waited five hours in a dark corner next to a coughing man for "Doctor" Johnson to prescribe Benadryl to me which I already had on my kitchen table. SMH. I have a DOZEN complaints against this so-called "hospital." And, just as I was exiting the facility, the staff member rolls up to me with his computer to REGISTER me into their facility. Really. . . .now??

These “professionals” don’t care about you or your health
I went in to get checked because I thought I had a seizure. Everything I said was looked at like I was lying. The doctor acted like I had no idea what I experienced. To make matters worse I get a voicemail telling me to call for a follow up on my cardiology report and was told the doctor doesn’t work there and they wouldn’t give me any information. Please for your health, pick a different hospital.

THEY WERE TRYING TO SEND MY MOTHER HOME SEPTIC TO DIE
MY MOTHER PASSED AWAY FROM SEPSIS AND THEIR NEGLIGENCE. THEY WERE TRYING TO SEND HER HOME SEPTIC TO DIE DAYS BEFORE SHE PASSED. I would give this place a zero if I could! Now if you don't love your family or friends send them to this hospital It has been a nightmare from hell!! My mom went in for gall bladder removal and almost died twice they didn't give her antibiotics sent her home and she got sepsis she went delirious thy did SO MANY SURGERIES TO TRY TO COVER UP THE MISTAKES THEY MADE! SHE ENDED UP WITH A CLONOSTOMY BAG FOR 6 MONTHS NOW THEY Admit HER AGAIN AND TOOK CLONOSTOMY OUT AND IT GOT INFECTED DO NOW ANOTHER SURGERY!!!! THE NURSE'S AREN'T CHANGING THE WOUND SITE AND NOW INFECTION AGAIN!!!!!!!!!! I'm about to call the news on them !!!

We will never go back to Banner Thunderbird
Worst service. My husband went to ER for chest pain, shortness of breath and low heart rate. He immediately went in at 2pm but Banner made him lay down on a gurney for 8 hours in the hallway. He finally got a room at 10pm. After numerous test, he was discharged. The cardiologist never came in to talk to him why he is being discharged. We were simply informed to go see a cardiologist. We had to scan our patient portal to get more information, since the doctor never talked to us. This patient portal is impossible to log in. What a waste of time and money.

This hospital has fallen from grace
The care these people gave my boyfriend was subpar. My daughter was a C-section in 2011, GREAT care, I had my gallbladder out here in 2013, GOOD care.My boyfriend was in a motorcycle accident 3 weeks ago. The emergency people were GREAT! ICU was pretty decent too however NO ONE changed his bandages after his leg surgery. He went in on the 12th of April. They screwed and pinned his leg together at the knee and ankle. 72 hours after having his hip socket rebuilt, they tried to discharge him! Thankfully, they realized he hadn't been weaned from his pain meds so he stayed 2 more days. Then they sent him home. He also sustained 6 broken ribs, an injured spleen and a partially collapsed lung.The social workers DIDN'T do their job in helping him with AHCSSS, finding services or even a rehab. He now has a level 3 bed sore (4 in gangrene.) and the follow up appointment they scheduled for 2 weeks from now is with a DECEASED DR. If you can help it, GO SOMEWHERE ELSE! Also the feedback link doesn't work.

Their billing department are Scandalous Scumbags!
Pay them thousands of dollars at your own risk. They may just lose track of it. And then hang up on you when you attempt to respectfully rectify the situation. Even more comical when you have proof of funds delivered and received.

I had a horrible experience
My mother was transferred here from her rehab center due to an infection on her fistula. My mother arrived at 6pm and was not attended until 9pm!!!!!! When I approached the ER front desk to explain that if she did undergo surgery that we were told she couldn’t be under a certain anesthesia meds due to her stroke, she was SO rude and unprofessional. She didn’t acknowledge one word I said to her, she was blantly ignoring me, was not even looking at me… I understand it’s busy and full but if you are gonna have such a disgusting attitude towards patients then MAYBE you shouldn’t work there. HELLLLOOOO! it’s an ER Ofcourse it’s gonna get busy. She’s a blonde lady with short hair SO RUDE!!!!!!!! I’ve never been to Banner Thunderbird and DO NOT plan on ever going back as long as that woman works there.
