I’m still mortified by all the things those people did to me
I had surgery here about 2 years ago. I went in for extreme abdominal pain and they found a 4cm ovarian cyst. They said it was fine and sent me home. I went back a week later because the pain was so severe it was making me puke. They then discovered I had ovarian torsion from the ovarian cyst twisting around. They rushed me into surgery at 2 in the morning. After the surgery they woke me up and started rushing me out of the hospital bed in the OR recovery room. They were in such a hurry to get me out the nurse stripped me fully naked in front of my friend who was giving me a ride home. I was mortified but I was still so out of it from the anesthesia that I couldn’t really even talk yet. The nurse then wheeled me out to the car and put me in the passenger seat and left where then I started profusely vomiting all over the parking lot because of the effects of anesthesia. Then the hospital did not bill my insurance correctly and decided to sue me instead of giving me a call or speaking with my insurance. There was only once lovely nurse in the ER on night shift. Everyone else was too upset that they got called in to save my ovary from dying off on me. I wouldn’t recommend this place to my worst enemy.

Our family member never woke up after surgery
Our family member was air cared to the Nuro ICU and we were told there was no rush. They were fine resting and we could arrive in the morning morning came and they took her into surgery without calling any family member so when we arrived, she was hooked to machines, brain dead, and we were told that we would have to make a decision to pull a plug, the nurse told us take your time. She’s fine apologizes repeatedly that they didn’t call us before the surgery and apologize that she told us that we had time and didn’t tell us anything different when she had our phone number. This hospital is shady, they treat their patience and families badly. There’s no concern whatsoever for life. It’s an experiment game The doctors lack of care and concern is disgusting. The nurses failure to do their job is unacceptable malpractice malpractice malpractice never use this place if you can avoid at all cost.

Not a safe place for people of color to have their babies here
Dr Susanne O’Nan in the nicu not only lacked professionalism and compassion she treated me like a subhuman while my child and I were on the brink of death .. there is an issue with the culture at good Sam’s labor and deliver / mother baby units and it is not a safe place for people of color to have their babies here. A lot of the nurses followed her lead .

Never going back
Surgery earns 1 star... The noisy construction outside my window of the room I had to wait 8 hours after surgery for..the 2 employees in break area 6th floor practically having sex on the paid job in cubby hole for 30 mins..any many other issues not going to mention.

We will NEVER go back to TERRIBLE SAMS for anything
I honestly feel that they do not care about the patients. The lack of empathy in a very uncomfortable situation is appalling. I am sure there are other ways to clear the colon without putting the patient in such a vulnerable position.

They basically took her life
If zero was an option, this has got to be The worst hospital in the Tri-state in between. Miss communication and neglect, my sister-in-law is getting ready to pass away. She just turned 30 and they basically took her life. The people on staff shouldn't have a medical license they are all trash, they're ignorance is not worth someone's life and they should be refunded and shut down....

They're screwing me
They removed the top half of my entire foot for strep infection I almost lost my foot and leg Stayed 2 weeks in recovery and they sent me home with 28 pain pills lol I'm now without meds and no instructions on changing wound dressing at home I call daily to get bounced around on phone Ahh my insurance changed and won't be good til Jan 1 Maybe they'll know me then

Did an AWFUL job on my sons circumcision
If you deliver a baby boy at this hospital do not allow Shwetha Manoharan to preform your sons circumcision. She did an AWFUL job on my sons circumcision. He has to go to children's pediatric urology now to fix her mistake. He almost bled out and had to have a special bandage to stop the bleeding. She didn't even come and speak to me after. Terrible doctor. great nurses though.
