My next step is BBB. After that will be a lawyer
Long story short, I went in for a surgery. The surgery was terminated because while trendelenberg, my oxygen levels dropped. My doctor requested I get a bunch of other procedures done to "clear" me to redo this surgery- chest xray, pulmonary visits, AND a bronchoscopy which I had to get put under for as well. (ALL CLEAR) During that procedure, they also tilted me back and nothing happened. They did not find any defects nor did I have any breathing or intubation issues, with this procedure OR any of those ive had in the past. This was an anesthesia or intubation mishap to begin with. Promedica STILL received payment from my insurance for this surgery AND will now get paid again when I have to redo it - meeting ANOTHER deductible (if my insurance will authorize another). They are still holding me responsible for a very large portion still. Ive spoken with billing, anesthesia, surgery, and the compliance department. I've missed work (so has my husband), we've both had to close our businesses for all of these appointments and recovery, I have 6 holes in my stomach as a result, and no answers.

Horrible Obgyn department
You will end up talking to multiple drs non of which know anything about you or care to learn doesn’t seem like they talk to each other at all or communicate with their patients at all I’ve had to repeat everything about my pregnancy every single time I have went in told I was being induced and my husband took time off and work just to be constantly rescheduled when I’m supposed to be high risk and pregnant with twins! If I would have known the horrible nature of this hospital I would never have went there and would definitely never recommend anyone to go there especially for high risk pregnancy!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Zero stars

This place did some immoral and possibly illegal $hit to us
Me and my wife had a baby and the way the doctors, nurses and pediatricians did us was so messed up. Instead of doing a full on report and honestly reporting what they found, they contacted cps and took our kid from us. Instead of telling us our own results they kept everything from us in order for cps to get a court order to remove our baby from us. Instead of advocating for us they did everything they could to take our child. This place did some immoral and possibly illegal shit to us and I would highly recommend reconsidering going to this hospital if you take any non narcotic medication that could possibly make you have false positives, just saying.

Highly recommend bringing you're own nursing staff and doorman if you go here
If you go to the 9th floor don't expect to be let in to visit someone by a staff member, I waited outside the locked doors for 20 min before someone visiting left and I was able to get in. When asking the nurse about my father's discharge the nurse I asked was rude and made sure she told me the number of patients she was dealing with and the number of nurses. Well forgive me you are standing outside my fathers room in the hallway my bad I assumed you paid well to be there and would be helpful without drama.

They send people almost immediately to collections for a mere $25
Don’t go here for anything. They’re for-profit. Go to a state hospital like UTMC or U of M. They won’t harass you or send you to collections.

He has Medicaid, doesn’t mean he’s last!!
Everytime my father has a procedure at The Toledo Hospital, he gets here on time, and they push it back for hours! He was having a heart cath done. Arrive at 10:00 procedure at 11:30 then it’s pushed to 12:30 and now pushed to 3:25! This is ridiculous! Every single time! This is the worse hospital! Maybe it’s time to get a lawyer, being discriminated against is really against the law because he’s retired and has Medicaid.

Over all I’m still not feeling safe going back
I was not satisfied on how the ER front desk talk to me in the first place, I feel like I’m getting treated like I’m a liar, when I am not feeling well, and it was at 5 in the morning, feel like that nurse are being racist to me, and I’m not sure what I did at all, just came in and already feeling bad and plus getting treated like this, over all I’m still not feeling safe going back after that attitude I got from the nurse.

This is not patient care but gross negligence
I have never been more appalled by the care my father has received since his arrival. As a nurse who used to work for this company I can not believe the amount of negligence that I not only seen in the ER as my father came in having an acute MI, but in observation as well. Protocols were not follow and for 11 hours treatment was not started for an acute MI on a patient with a very detailed history if someone would have looked in his chart. He was put in what seemed like a closet to die. Even with advocating what I know as a nurse it fell a deaf ears. Finally after 24 hours he was moved to the cardiac floor. Once we arrived we were told they did have beds and was not sure why observation had not brought him when they were calling down there for hours wondering why he was not on this floor and all the empty rooms we passed while being transported showed the type of care this place chooses to give. I will never understand how a symptomatic patient with an abnormal ekg was not given nitro and heparin and Cardiology be consulted. The er doctor who couldn't even state who she was, seemed angry when my father was following the direction from his long standing cardiologist of 27 years, didn'tlike being told to consult him so she got up and left the room. This is not patient care but gross negligence and the amount of damage to his heart could have been prevented. Not to mention as we wait for a heart cath we were told would take place early and my elderly mother needed to be here by 5 am to find out now it wont be till 1230 or 1. This place is seriously the worst and I highly recommend never taking your loved ones here.

Terrible
My husband & I are both physicians & were at the ER for 2 hours when we were not called & found out that he had a female client's name on his wrist band. Furthermore, the nurse refused to identify herself.
