Jesus help anyone who has to come to this ER
The whole entire experience has been a nightmare I can’t begin to explain the massive difference in the staff between Metro main campus ER and the Glick center staff night and day.first I will start off by saying they took my elderly father and kept him in an emergency room .. no windows no bathroom no special mattress for six days SIX days in a bed didn’t get up ended up with a stage one bed sore he’s a thin man it didn’t take much despite voicing my concerns throughout this whole process daily he was still kept there I was told by one of the caseworkers that she has dropped this case was no longer involved and to contact someone else The social worker did not return my calls.from the nurses to the caseworkers it was a nightmare and these people should all be ashamed of themselves and I can only hope that one day they’re not in a similar situation and met with the same absence of customer service and vile attitudes IF SICK PEOPLE ARE Annoying or bothersome to you then I wonder why do you go into nursing that would be like someone that doesn’t like children working at a daycare. SHAME ON THESE NURSES. The rudest most uncaring unsupportive unhelpful nurses I have ever encountered and I’ve encountered some doozies.

You all messed with the wrong one. I won’t drop this until I have answers!
I’ve had too many bad experiences here. I just had a varicose vein treatment here on June 6th 2025 by dr James persky and I am still in pain over 2 weeks later, they have ignored me for over a week now. They just say the ultrasound of the treated vein shows the vein was closed and I have no deep blood clots. They refuse to address anything else, any of the other issues I’m having. My leg is sore, bruised, lumpy, way worse than it was before the procedure. But the real big issue is my foot/ankle which was below the area treated. It immediately hurt extreme bad the night of the procedure and swelled up, was red, inflamed. I am shocked at how dismissive the doctor and other staff members have been regarding this. None of them know exactly what went wrong or why I’m in so much pain there, yet they are quick to say I’ll be fine. The doctor admitted he slipped out when putting the iv in my ankle vein, however the pain I’m having is lower than that and into my foot. I even have nerve pain in the sole of my foot now too. They have all refused to order any tests for my foot like a CT scan or ultrasound of the veins. I have an appointment at a different vein clinic July 1st, a facility that only does vein procedures. I will keep pushing until I get answers.

They are not patient focused
They want to take their time with every. One cannot get an appointment with their primary care for at the minimum of a month. They also cannot figure how to bill correctly.

If you can avoid going to Metro, I would strongly encourage you to
If I could give this a negative 100 star I would. The worst treatment I have ever seen. My father was transported there for a BRAIN BLEED and high fever. They dismissed all of our concerns and discharged him. My mom was not allowed to be with him and he has memory issues because of this injury. When it was time to discharge, they didn't even let him get dressed and pushed him in a wheelchair into the lobby to wait for my mom who lives almost 2 hours way to come get him. He can hardly stand and should not be left alone. When she got there they would not allow her to speak to any doctors or nurse! TERRIBLE care! We did call and complain just wanted to warn everyone else.

Poor Bedside manner, stripping of dignity/worth/independence
Lacks professionalism, and staff were staring at a phone without empathetic communication with the patient. This place made me feel like a prisoner. We rarely went outside, the staff allowed patients to be in the common area who were extremely aggressive and very triggering for patients with PTSD triggers. Many of the staff members acted very unprofessionally and absolutely lets personal bias get in the way of quality care. There were some empathetic staff and medical students that were absolutely meant to be doing this for work. However, a lot of work is needed on this program.

I would not recommend going to this emergency room
I was waiting 4 hours for daughter to be seen by a doctor and she looked like she was getting worst just by being there!! I don’t know if they’re short staffed or if they simply just don’t want to do their job, never again!!

ER was absolutely filthy
Worst ER I have ever encountered. My husband's exam was done openly out in the hallway as that's where his bed was for many hours. Apparently they could care less about HIPPA. However when we were moved to a room, it was even dirtier than the hallway. Puddle of something on the floor, dust literally hanging from ceiling and vents. Walls and doors were disgusting. Wherever the money is distributed in this place, they should hire more housekeeping staff and replace some of the broken things around there. I would never allow a transfer to that place again!

Auto accident patient was quickly released without stitches and staples
Choose ANYWHERE but Metro. The staff are not care givers, especially ER nursing staff. Family member was in an auto accident and was quickly released without stitches and staples that were more than adequately installed with great care and concern by The Clinic as we’re very necessary the following morning.
