Better care at the vet for a pet than I received for my terminally ill mother
I couldn't give a negative star: 1) Dr. Raman Seth is a poor physician. We went over comfort care plan for my mother in the morning that would be started that day. Later in the evening we noticed my mother was uncomfortable and found out 'Dr.' Seth never put in the orders that he said he would. This was NEVER communicated to the family. The nurses felt horrible. 2) 'Dr.' Keveson, the short 4 foot 'physician' in the cardio ICU section is feeble in his profession. He laughed at our family when we advised him we wanted our mother to have a swallow test so she could get nutrition. He always had a grin on his face as if we were wasting our time taking care of our mother. Just for his poor bed side manners our mother passed her swallow test and was transferred out of this low medical competency ICU. In addition, we had a nurse that was so rude that she should not have a job. Nurses Kelsey, Lisa, and Kaylie were great. The former nurses should transfer to a better facility before the poor practicing medical providers get them caught up in a medical lawsuit resulting in them losing their nursing licenses.

They’re the worst, Its been every single time
Take the drive, go to another atrium location… this one is hands down the rudest nurses & longest wait times.

Corrupt and should be investigated by the state of NC and the federal government
Worst hospital experience of my life. Waiting room was not even busy and my girlfriend who was vomiting and screaming in pain was forced to sit for 2-3 hours before a single test was done beyond taking her temperature. No medication was offered or given until hours 4 and 5. They told her they would schedule a CAT scan for her and we declined and chose to leave after another couple told us they had been there 8 hours and hadnt gotten their scan. Then this hospital system has the nerve to bill her for the CAT scan that we declined and was never performed!! We are going to turn to legal action if the hospital refuses to resolved this issue.

We are very disappointed in the services
My name is Patsy and my husband Donald White ! Donald has been hospitalized since the second week in December 2022! He was taken to Atrium Main and sat in the emergency room practically all night and was sent home because of no beds. He is a diabetic and had a sore on his big toe and the doctors ignored that. The next day he was taken back to the hospital and admitted from Main to Pineville! He developed a rash on his bottom no doctors ever recommended a wound specialist to check on his rash which was very painful. The nurses did not turn him until they changed his pad. I was so disappointed in that we hardly seen doctors. My husband was transported to MUSC in Lancaster SC and we both are very pleased with the service. In just two days since he has been there we constantly have doctors, nurses and therapists in the room and a wound specialist is treating my husband for a stage three infection that he developed at the two hospitals in Charlotte! We are very disappointed in the services and I recommend MUSC to everyone!

Atrium is truly all about burn and churn
I now go here for my infusions. I got a call 2 weeks prior to my last visit saying they needed to reschedule. They weren't able to get me in the following week and so it was pushed another week out. I have to work for a living and schedule these appointments accordingly. They didn't clear it through my doctor like they stated they would and now I'm required to go in every 6 weeks instead of 8 due to a low count. You'd think they'd take this more seriously and get their act together, but it shows in the reviews of this place. Atrium's customer service is a joke too, after submitting a complaint last year a 'manager of customer service' reached out through a blocked number and apologized for the inconvenience and left no name or call back on my voice-mail. Atrium is truly all about burn and churn - they care 0 about the patients, only the dollars they bring in.

Didn't receive the care I needed
I passed out cold on the floor in line waiting to get checked in, they brought me back and did no scans of any part of my body even though I said I was hurting. I was given medicine and not told what it was called and had a bad reaction to it. If I was told what it was I would have been able to tell them to not give it to me. I didn't receive the care I needed and deserved as a human being.

Do NOT come here.
For the sake of your loved one or yourself. Do not...I repeat.. Do NOT come here. My father's health deteriorated so fast our heads were spinning. I visited him on a Friday and he was perfectly fine...then that Monday it became a different story. He even called the nurse while I was there to prove how long it would take them to come into the room to check and see what he needed. He went in for one thing and they told us he was in good hands.... they put him on antibiotics and did not keep an eye on him to monitor for any reactions. And of course he had a reaction. They gave him so many medications that day and the next thing you know he's in the ICU on a ventilator. He caught pneumonia while here as well. One person said the pneumonia was cleared and the the next day another says he's still being treated for it. While in the ICU they ran many tests on him and from one of the tests he got another infection and had to be put on more antibiotics. My father did not make it out of this hospital alive and there was a doctor there that was very inconsiderate to my grandparents who had just buried another son weeks prior. There is so much more I can say, we would be here all day.... please.... I know I'm a stranger but RUN for the hills when it comes to this hospital.

My wife and I went to the emergency room as per her physicians request . We sat the the for 11 and a half hours. it would have been 11 hours had it not been for a screw up. My wife and I ate no for and she had very little water, because she was afraid she would miss her turn. The next day she was still stressed out. from that wonderful experience.
