Horrible care for a family member
I have had to be a major advocate and ask for basic and bare minimum care for a family member when I shouldn't have too. And extreme medical negligence! They don't care!!!! Mission has gone downhill tremendously and no matter how many times you express concerns.

I would never recommend Mission to anyone
This was the worst experience I have ever had. I was treated like trash the whole time I was in there.

I now tell others NOT to go to Mission Hospital
My Technician was terrible. She was rough handling me and my breast. She also had difficulty working the Mammography machine. And called in another Tech. I reported her to front desk when I left. She needs much more training!!! Everything with mission has gotten to be terrible care. My mother was in hospital for 2 weeks in March and received no care or terrible care in every dept. No one came when she called. The Doctors were numerous and each one told her a different diagnosis. She was left alone in the CT dept!!! I was told Transportstion was very short staffed after not showing up several times. It was obvious ALL departments are short staffed. I have switched to Advent Health. Mission has MANY problems and the care is terrible. My mother died.

Don't stay unless tou have to, its a prison
Terrible staffing shortage and almost nothing in room was stocked: 1/3 soap dispensers, 1/2 paper towel dispensers, 0/1 tissue paper dispensers. Food that comes with stay is nasty. Very Little communication between nurses and assistants and between nurses and doctors. We were supposed to start the discharge process at 6 am we were told...it is now 10 am with no news at all. Got woke up multiple times per night and after taking a walk to clear my head realized the fire alarm had locked me out of the wing my wife was in. Thankfully a nurse from another wing helped because even though a nurse on ny side heard me she didn't budge from her seat. The 2nd entrance will not let you in from outside, this started yesterday at around 2 pm. Getting back in was a chore. Had to walk 2 entrances down and back to our tower...about an extra half-mile.

I would never recommend this hospital to anyone. Even for their dog
My sister went to Mission for a minor surgical procedure. It was supposed to be in one day and out the next. She even drove herself there. Now here it is 10 days later and she is still there with a tube in her chest draining blood. I as her only living relative have not been able to get any information at all from doctors and all the nurses say is that they don't know what is happening. I am at my wits end with these people.

This is the worst emergency room I have ever been to
I would rather have a child care for me then go back here. The ONLY. People that did not make me livid that I talked to was my my amazing nurse Alexis, the front desk man, and the sweet doctor that did my ultrasound I apologize for not remembering their names. I went in at six and did not leave until 12:15. I understand ERs are busy but this was purely unprofessional. My nurse had to constantly ask if I had been taken up to ultrasound and the only reason I finally got there is thanks to her consistently urging the doctors to take me up and that I needed to be up there long before. My doctor told me everything looked great but she failed to mention that I might have had a possible miscarriage. I have called to talk to anyone about this. The woman directing my call was very rude, even though I was nice because none of this was her fault. Then once someone picked up she asked me a question and as soon as I started to answer she put me on hold for over 30 minutes. I understand healthcare is stressful I’ve worked in it, but these people who made my experience hell are lacking in compassion and common manners.

A hospital should be about caring for patients not profits
This hospital seems understaffed. It took half an hour just for help to go to the bathroom for my mom. They served clear leftovers from lunch. For the amount this place charges I cant say im impressed with the level of skill or care they put into their jobs. This place has gone downhill badly.

HCA has a clear business policy to maximize profits over patient care
Emergency admission … waited in ER for 7 hrs before being assigned to a 5’th floor room … very small room with a small bed that would elevate my head and bed position buttons could not be reached due to bilateral shoulder issues … was told another bed could be provided but never came … MAHEC Dr team had me transferred to 6’th floor after two days … Oxygen sensor placed on finger and later ear lobe fell off 5 times with no one noticing and checking my status … All medical personnel were obviously doing their best though pushed and noticeably under staffed … without going into further detail it is apparent why filling suit has been so frequently a reported news item. As for this welcomed feedback is concerned, nothing will change as HCA has a clear business policy to push the “ legal limit “ to maximize profits over compassionate patient care!!
