What a terrible neglectful hospital
I wish I could give it a 0 star. What a terrible experience and they really did not give any care to my mom. They are supposed to be the best neurological hospital. And it couldn’t be far from the truth. They ran no tests on my mom’s brain. They kept running the same blood work to check for potassium and bs like that. Not even an mri. I requested to meet with the “team” or the neurologist but they kept sending me a trainee who did not know jack. They did nothing for my mom besides run the insurance for money. Every meal my mom got I checked the invoices they loaded the invoices with so many things but my mom never got even half of those.

By far the worst hospital experience I’ve ever had
Extremely poor service. The emergency room was chaotic - more like a zoo than a place for medical care. Even after being admitted, the wait for an actual room was nearly 24 hours. Nurses were largely unresponsive and seemed to ignore patients entirely. The rooms were unsanitary, and overall, the staff felt disconnected and indifferent. Monitors were not properly connected, and despite the lack of care, someone showed up almost immediately to collect insurance information.

Important Health Advisory #MedicalMalpractice #Epilepsy #PatientAdvocacy #NYU Language
I feel compelled to share my troubling experience regarding cranioplasty surgery performed at NYU Langone Health. Regrettably, the outcome deviated significantly from my expectations. I encountered a concerning lack of transparency surrounding my diagnosis, leading me to believe that the surgical intervention may have precipitated the onset of epilepsy. I strongly advise individuals considering neuro-surgical procedures at this facility to exercise caution. I have observed alarming trends, including elevated admission rates to the epilepsy ward and disconcerting mortality statistics. Furthermore, I have faced significant challenges in accessing pertinent post-operative information, and my attempts to obtain essential medical records have been obstructed. Consequently, I am currently in the process of enlisting legal counsel to navigate this complex situation. our health is paramount! I urge everyone to remain vigilant and advocate for themselves in medical contexts. #HealthCareTransparency #MedicalAwareness #ShareYourStory

The leadership gets paid millions and can't even have a correct billing
The BILLING and Patient Experience department and leadership are an absolute joke. I have been going back and forth with them for over 3 years for a bill that the billing department can't figure out and keep sending me updated letters asking to confirm insurance. DO NOT GO HERE FOR CARE. They only care about money and that's about it. Also, do not see Christopher Eswar. He misdiagnosed me and I had to have surgery by Dr. Fischer and I'm still dealing with the bills from this nightmare. They don't care about women's health and now they are opening up a multimillion dollar women's health center. What a joke.

Their visiting policy is doesn’t make sense at all
I have to be with a patient and I’m not allowed, they won’t even try to verify.

I should sue NYU langone really
WORST hospital and will never go here unless life or death. Getting bills they seemingly can't reconcile a year after a botched dislocated shoulder that they didn't fix properly

“Additional charge” well above the advertised rate
They advertise “flat rate” for virtual urgent care and then bill me for “additional charge” well above the advertised rate. I cannot believe they get to do this false advertising without getting sued
