The problem is that the people in charge is practically impossible to find
My neighbor and old man 93yo fall inside his apartment and hit his head Spent 2 days on ER and his blood pressure,memory and heart condition change drastically We spoke and ask for help with every single person working there,only very few were kind and attentive. Now in a room if you need help you must go around and find them absolutely unacceptable. My wife asked me to let her die at home or on the street before taking her there and I asked same. It’s a shame because I have had 2 Surgeries there and my wife 1,but I’m talking about at least 15 years ago

Bothered about doing they jobs
This experience is solely based on the patient and services kiosk at the entrance located at 41st Ave and 80th, the lady is so rude, no eye contact, no acknowledgment. If it says patient services why is she so bothered by people coming up and asking questions regarding their appointments. I was here to early for an appt. so I had to wait a little bit and I sat in the bench right in front and I observed her behavior. I’ll never understand people working in areas they are miserable in. Yes, she was this way since she arrived, before 8 am. People are already coming to the hospital.

Lack of urgency, organization, and compassion
I went to Elmhurst Hospital after an accident and was left sitting in severe pain for 3 hours. No nurse was ever assigned to me, and no one checked on me while I waited. When I told staff I was in pain, they just said ‘okay’ and walked away. I was told they were ‘busy today,’ yet I saw staff sitting down and having conversations instead of helping patients. I eventually gave up and left, only to get a call two hours later asking where I was. Patients deserve to feel safe and cared for I did not experience that here.

I have been in ER 6 hours no service
Just people walking around looking and sitting down, doctor's not a available take care of me

The service here is unacceptable
My mom and I came here and were made to wait for four hours, only to receive the same repeated response that the doctor would be here “in a few minutes.” The doctor was never assigned to us, and it's frustrating to hear the nurse repeat the same line when it's clearly not true. I would not recommend anyone come to this facility.

This pharmacy services is worse in USA
Employees are unimagianly slow! It was my first time here! They took my whole day just to give my doctors prescibed medician!

I feel disregarded and ignored while as a patient in this hospital
Absolutely horrible. Some of the nurses here lack respect and responsibilities in their work, making no acknowledgement to their patients or giving them enough proper care.

United States healthcare is worse and more expensive than Brazil
People in Brazil complain about the SUS. Of course, it has to improve, but here in the United States it is much worse. There is no public hospital here, you even pay for the ambulance, there is no SAMU. Two hours or less here and they send you a bill for almost 10 thousand reais (converting dollars to reais) and the service is terrible.
