I could not wait to get him out of there
I cannot say enough negative about this place. I can’t believe how many times in fact most of the time the call button was never answered to even say what do you need. One time after 30 minutes my husband went to the front desk and told them that my dad needed to be moved and an hour and 15 minutes later, it still had not happened. There was a time when he asked for help and didn’t get it and then was in a wet bed, wet everything, and couldn’t get help until I called the hospital. When I arrived, the nurse was finally in the room and would not speak to me. I asked for an update of the day and she said, “do you want me to tell you what went on today? I’m not going to” Her name was Blue. Oh yes, and she updated the nurse taking over her shift and happened to notice on the whiteboard that she had forgotten to write down the last time she gave him oxycodone. That seems important to me. The first day he was in a regular room when I arrived there were wet urine betting on the floor and his urinal was across the room so he couldn’t possibly use it. After I called patient relations four people suddenly were able to show up. I should not have to do that. Don’t get me wrong he was there three weeks and there were several good nurses but only all the stay was horrific.
