Horrible, do not go to this hospital, find another one
The most horrible hospital I have ever been to. If I could give it a zero start I would, but it does not give me the option, so, I have to give it one. I came here with pain in my hip that I can barely walk, I waited for more than five hours and they only did a urine test and sent me to the waiting room, there I waited and waited and the pain got worse. The PA didn’t even ask many questions of why I was there, she just looked like she didn’t even believe I was in pain. I asked the lady in the waiting area reception when I would be able to be check because the pain is killing me. She just said that there were people there waiting for more than twelve hours and I would have to wait. Listen, if you are short on personnel, then hire more, medical bills are not just two cents, and there are people agonizing in pain and they don’t seem to care. I have to leave because my pain wasn’t serious at all, and I would have to wait till they wanted to.

You will not be taken care of here
This is the worst hospital I have ever been to. It took 6 hours to actually see a doctor in the ER. There were people fighting with the employees in the ER waiting room, actually almost fighting. The phlebotomist couldn’t properly take my blood and both arms are severely bruised. None of the doctors or nurses had any compassion or empathy during my entire stay. I waited 2 hours for medicine. At one point, they put me and my bed in the hallway so they could get other patients in my room (there were literally 4 other rooms empty). While in the hallway, the nurses and doctors sat there talking and joking while their patients weren’t properly being cared for. I overhead so much PHI, it’s insane. If you can, please go to a different hospital.

The financial staff epitomize a Sisyphean hell-scape
Want to dispute a bill? Charged for the wrong CPT code? Better lawyer up, because nothing short of that will get you anywhere. Somehow the person I need to get ahold of is never at work, or always in a meeting. I was hung up on multiple times despite remaining professional. They won't contact you for any reason other than coercing you into making a payment.

What my daughter experienced at Parkland was not healthcare - it was cruelty
This place should be ashamed to call itself a hospital. My child was in extreme pain, vomiting repeatedly, and after over 4.5 hours of waiting just to be assigned a room, she asked a nurse for something to help her nausea. The nurse’s response? “You can walk to the back far counter and get it yourself.” That’s not just unprofessional - it’s inhumane. Denying basic compassion and forcing sick patients to fend for themselves should be illegal. On top of that, I wasn’t allowed to be with her during the wait - not even to use the restroom - because “no one can enter unless the patient is in a room.”

Definitely not a good hospital in my opinion
My father in law had a stroke and as of right now he’s not speaking not walking and definitely can not write and we came to parkland to see if we can get him admitted cause they wanna discharge him from Methodist in the state he is no nursing homes wanna take him and when my family went to speak what they could do for him parkland told them that’s it’s fraud that they’re filling out his paperwork but it has been said that’s if the patient is unable to fill that the paperwork has to be filled anyways “whether or not it constitutes fraud" I called once I heard this and they hung up on me. Parkland that’s negligence towards a patient.

NEVER GO HERE!!!
Worst hospital I have EVER seen. Neglected patients and malpractice all over the place. Nonexistent interdepartmental communication, amenities that never work right (including the light switches!) and the barest, most-poorlu-stocked collection of equipment and drugs this side of the Gaza Strip. They will LITERALLY ignore your cries for help while you choke and bleed in the hallway.

If you’re having a baby, do NOT get treatment from here
the workers did not seem to care at all what happened to my baby. without going into heavy detail, they first prescribed the mother of my child a prescription that was very very dangerous to take while pregnant and it ended up giving my baby tons of health issues. on top of that there was an extreme lack of communication, nurses did their job carelessly, and to top it all off they literally lost countless documents that we had to sign multiple times because they kept losing them. oh yeah and can’t forget the workers who just generally have a bad attitude and play on their phones while working. most ridiculous experience of my life. don’t go here. i can only imagine how it is with how they treat adults

Best way to describe this hospital in one word, "horrendous"
If you can avoid, please do. Not worth the frustration, hassle and extremely poor services in all departments. They are clearly money oriented.
