Starr regional will drown you in debt
They charge you for services that do nothing for you. They will lie to you at the front door saying pay this and your good just to send you bills for the next year. And once you pay some They realize oh you owe more. Nothing but a money trap.

It needs shut down!
This hospital is the absolute worst. I took my 6 month old in because of a 105.1 fever at home to be told I’m a liar, I used the wrong thermometer, didn’t even touch my son and said he looked fine. This is not the only inquiry I’ve had with this hospital.

Do unto others...
My dad came here for a simple cyst removal on his back near the neck shoulder area. It became infected. Instead of draining it and doing better for someone's health they pumped him full of antibiotics. The first round didn't work so they did another round of a different and stronger one. Well the side effects my dad has had since being prescribed those antibiotics.... the aches he has! Looking it up it's one of the major side effects...Really unfortunate. Remember, you are caring for people's family and loved ones. Do right by your clients.

Questionable ethics when it comes to billing
I was told when they took my insurance card that I had coverage. I have received multiple bills for over $600 a piece. The physician came by for maybe five minutes.. and he says “I’m not a OBGYN. I’d do a follow up with them,”….charged me $696. Now almost 3 months after my visit I’m being charged an additional $900 for my actual hospital visit. They did not treat me. They hooked me up to an IV with saline. I was in and out. Had to do a follow up with my OB and wasn’t even billed by them. I believe they’re changing insurance companies and patients for one visit. Make the drive to another facility and do not waste your time here unless you HAVE to.

Take the risk and drive to Sweetwater or Cleveland
If I could rate 0 stars I would. We have had multiple visits to this hospital, always hoping it would be better than the last. We will never be back. Incident 1) came to the hospital 9 months pregnant, contracting, etc. Doctor did not even take the time to examine me, but felt confident to discharge me. I ended up having my baby, alone, at home, 3 hours later. 2) My newborn was not examined properly once admitted, causing sepsis and an 8 day stay at Children’s Hospital.Do NOT go here.
