WOULD NOT RECOMMEND SAVE YOUR TIME AND MONEY
Not a good experience. I was sent by my GP to ER. Wasn't seen for 2 hours. I understand they take people in order of priority. They said blood work was normal. And there wasn't anything they could do. I got upset and was not kind at all. They brought back a Dr. At that point who said we can keep you but we won't do anything. When I asked for discharge papers if they weren't going to do anything the NP or whatever she was(she never identified her qualifications and she and the Dr. Had their badges turned around) got very nasty with my husband and myself. At this point she wanted to do a physical exam and I told her she did not have my permission to touch me. They sent someone to pull the IV had me sign discharge papers and I left the hospital and papers there. I have a my chart. As soon as I got to the car my chart started to alert me. Contrary to what I was told my blood work was not normal. In addition to that. I noticed the discharge nurse they sent in put a not about my walk to the parking lot with my husband. Which was untrue. A quick review of the security footage would show this woman lied. Further more the rude dismissve NP that I originally had put a not that I was verbally aggressive. If telling someone in the medical field that you do not trust because of their behavior is considered aggressive I think the system needs to be re evaluated. I did not feel heard or cared for by the staff in the back for the 10 minutes we interacted. I would not recommend Taylor or Ben. They both need to learn that patient care starts with actually seeing the patient. I am not a chart full of numbers and tests. I am a human being who was and still is in a considerable amount of pain. They took zero time to be people. Taylor keept insisting to my husband she was the medical professional, she was doing her job, and was disrespectful and rude as all get out to him. I think a compassion and how to talk to people train should be held. I shouldn't be surprised this is how Major health care works. When you are worried about sending someone in for a copay before I have even been seen by a doctor maybe we need to re evaluate what you are doing. BALLAD JCMC do better. You charge enough to my insurance and me what I experienced was not OK.

absolutely awful experience with the emergency room
nurses were very inattentive and doctor did not seem to care much about what was going on. floors and walls were dirty. saw a nurse letting someone’s gown drag the floor before giving it to them to put on.

Wrong billing
My bill was denied at BCBS because their participation provider did things they should not have.

I got mis treated at Johnson City medical center
I called ballad health about a month ago and I was supposed to get a phone call from someone in charge and Alisha who is a nurse called the police on me instead of asking me to leave but she had me arrested. No one cares no more. I went to jail not for no reason

Terrible nurses. Terrible doctors. No empathy.
0 stars. Will leave you sitting in a hallway where people can hear your private information (that’s if the doctors or nurses even come to talk to you). I was there for 6 hours with no updates or a nurse even checking on me. Asked to have my iv taken out 3 times so I could just leave and go somewhere that was going to take care of me instead of sitting without knowing what was going on and in increasing pain for another 6 hours. and they said my nurse had to take it out. Called her 3 times and she never came. A house keeper walking by had to give me a bag to throw up in because my nurse never came and I found a random trash can to throw up into. All the other staff is amazing, like the receptionist.

You made my father worse
You made my father worse by putting him on sedatives that he was not on when he came from memory care and made him much worse. You would think you would continue with what worked for him instead of your Doctor trying new drugs and not have any idea of what worked. I provided what he was on when he came from memory care but I guess you think you know more and what is best but have no idea what had been tried in past and what was not good for him. I am his POA and I think that was very unprofessional and disappointed with your facility.
