It's was a horrible and traumatic experience
Went to the emergency room from severe itching. Immediately that did a blood stick to look for narcotics. Zero was found. No apologies! Very arrogant doctors. Then they wanted to send in a psychiatrist all bc I was showing no systems. I have hcc liver cancer and the one sign gastrologist always told me to be concerned about was internal itching. They didn't care and basically called me a liar even though all of my past medical history is on WVU portal. Forever and ever this doctor's notes will stay on my portal forever. The doctors in other departments are great highly recommend them but do not go to emergency room. I never drank alcohol or smoked or done any drugs. I am 70 yrs old, for them to assume I was a drug addict was extremely hurtful and traumatizing.

Who do I get ahold of to report this doctor?
Dr. Wasilefsky the doctor i seen in the emergency lied to me and lied on my report. She said I told her the only thing that will help my pain is Dilotin, or something like that. I never said anything like that to her, shes lying, I don't even know what that is. I want to file a grievance or something, this is awful. She labeled me a drug seeker, I was very upset when I left that hospital, I did take out my own IV, all that doctor did was lie to me about everything. This should be an offense worth investigating. Don't the hospital have recorded rooms? This is bull. She also stated in my fie that my right hip was dislocated and I had to be sedated to get it back in. This never happened, another lie. This doctor is literally making up lies about me.

Just in hurry to get you out of there!! And some think they know more about my disease then I doand what works and don’t after 17 years.

The ER is the WORSE! Someone literally dying couldn't get seen. This place needs better management.

This hospital seems to have a monopoly over healthcare in WV
Would give this zero stars if possible, so let's just say that your time and money would be better spent finding a better hospital out-of-state. I took my girlfriend to this ER after she had been throwing up uncontrollably for 2 days. In addition to having us wait an hour before they took her blood, the wait time for her to actually be examined was 4 HOURS and we were the lucky ones because others in that waiting room had reported being there for more than 6 at that point. To make matters worse, they told her that further testing would be done to see what might be causing her these issues, only to later send her out without anything more than over-the-counter medicine which she already told them hadn't worked before coming in. Absolutely zero elaboration was given on the troubling blood results we saw later.

This place is horrendous!
Wait times are outrageous. They don’t help people who are moaning in pain and actively vomiting. They just move people from an exam room back to waiting room. Nobody is ever seen or helped.

Worse than my vets office
The ER at WVU Ruby is worse than my vets office in Manassas Virginia. Do not go unless you have 8 to 10 hours to see a doctor and then it will be a student who tends to your medical complaint. WV is ranked last Nationally and all you need to do is visit them. Unfortunately not many options in WV due to WVU owning all Health care in WV. They will kill you.

I would not take my dog there or even my worst enemy
They do more harm than better. My son was in a accident and they had him in the waiting room. And they wouldn't even let the parents In there with him. This place makes me sick. I do not recommend this place to anyone or anything at this point. I'd rather go to john hopkins hospital in baltimore marilyn for any shock trauma.
