Go to your grave before you come to this shitty ER
Every time we come here, we waste the entire day, and the wait is for absolutely nothing. They don’t care about your health at all. In fact, I always feel even more sick when I leave. They suck so bad please if you can avoid coming here, you must avoid it! Do not come here.

Not my greatest experience here
Normally I wouldn't even leave a bad review because usually for me, I've never really had a bad experience. But today I'm in the ER and I told them that I couldn't breathe, can't see straight, dizzy, etc... I've been here before and I absolutely need a blood transfusion and they're taking ppl take have come in after me to do blood work. Like normally I get an EKG and they check my levels, but that hasn't even been done. The triage nurse is just walking around like she doesn't have anyone who needs help and is taking ppl as soon as they come through the door, while ppl that have been here already haven't even been seen by the Triage nurse. Please make it make sense. If anything happens to me while I'm sitting here, there will definitely be a lawsuit filed because this is absolutely ridiculous. Also whoever the man is that is in the Observation unit, I don't think he's a nurse or anything, but he needs to be talked to. My transfusion machine was going off because there was air in the line and he came in my room and cut it off because he "couldn't stand the noise". I do not want him in my room or in my space especially if he's not a nurse or aide. Then he's constantly on personal calls just being loud, he's louder than the tv.

Charged twice for the same visit
Don’t use the Chesapeake Regional Medical Center ever unless you want to be charged twice for the same visit. My daughter broke her wrist and we had to take her to the ER because it happened after Urgent Care was closed. This resulted in over $1250 in charges and this was after insurance was billed and we had DOD insurance. I’ve never in my life paid this much for an ER visit. Do yourself and your bank account a favor and choose Sentara or CHKD ER over this joke of what they call a hospital. They should be reimbursing me for having to spend 10 hours in an ER only to come out with an insane bill.

Grand Jury found the hospital was complicit in profits over patient care scheme
I'd give no stars if I could. I've never used this facility but I just wanted an advertisement on TV promoting this hospital and it made me SICK. This hospital was recently charged, with their doctor, for doing unnecessary procedures on woman for profit. Hospital allegedly received $18.5 million in fraudulent reimbursemnts. Never use this facility. Horrible place. I have never been here and never will!
