Serious Concerns
The care and communication on the 5th floor of this hospital have been extremely disappointing. Over the past seven days, I received only one proactive update regarding the patient’s condition, which is unacceptable. When asking nurses questions, responses were often along the lines of “I don’t know” or “Let me check with the doctor,” with little to no follow-up. Consistent communication appears to be lacking, creating confusion and frustration for families trying to stay informed. Equally concerning, there was little visible physician presence. On multiple visits, no doctor came by to provide updates or discuss care, and attempts to speak with one were unsuccessful. Additionally, the attitude and professionalism of some staff members came across as dismissive and inattentive. This experience was not unique to us—several other patients and families on the floor voiced similar concerns during our time there.

Seeking my refund
I was prepared for procedure. After 2 Hours waiting in Hospital for Procedure it was canceled. Dr. Bradley Garden said he is sorry for that and scheduled for 8/27/2025. And asked hospital to refund my share $236, no refund was made yet.

IM CONTACTING THE DEPARTMENT OF FLORIDA AND NEWS STATIONS
LACK OF HOSPITALITY, RACISM, GIVING MEDICATIONS TO MY SIGNIFICANT OTHER WHO IS ALLERGIC TO THE CERTAIN MEDICINES. KAREN THE NURSE SUPERVISOR IS RUDE AND CONTINUED TO TALK OVER ME WHILE I TRIED TELLING HER MY PARTNER NEEDED TO USE THE BATHROOM AFTER WAITING 1 HOUR. WILLIS MOCKED MY PARTNER WHILE HER THROAT CLOSED UP FROM HAVING AN ALLERGIC REACTION TO MEDICINE THEY PROVIDED. PATRICK HEAD NURSE DIDN’T ADDRESS ANY CONCERNS AS WILLIS THE NURSE CONTINUED TO MAKE FUN OF PATIENTS, ADVISE HE WASN'T HELPING ANYONE BECAUSE ITS 1 HOURS LEFT. KAREN, PATRICK, WILLIS, AND ONE MORE INDIVIDUAL WHO TRIED OVER TALKING ME GOT UPSET BECAUSE I HAD TO TELL THEM IF I WAS WHITE AS EVERY PATIENT THEY HAVE TREATED BAD WAS BLACK AND SPANISH. MULTIPLE INDIVIDUALS HAVE COMPLAINED. IM CONTACTING THE DEPARTMENT OF FLORIDA AND NEWS STATIONS WITH ALL EVENTS FROM TONIGHT. NURSES LAUGHING AT PATIENTS CONDITIONS TELLS ME ALL I NEED TO KNOW.

The care was inadequate
I was seen with sugar levels of 630 was never given IV. I was admitted for 3 days. I would never recommend this hospital to any friends Or family

Killing my husband
My husband had a heart attack on 1/4/2021. Doctors were unable to clear the Blockage as it was too low from the heart. Safer to treat via medication. HA probably due to UC flare up. Was moved from ICU five days later and put in room 413 to manage complications from UC.
Dr. Gupta did a horrible job caring for him. Was always on her cell phone and not paying attention. None of the doctors seemed to be reading his chart. Hemagloban dropped to 7 in the am and nine of the doctors took action. Until I complained to the director of the floor. I sit here now watching my husband wither away. He now needs a transfusion but haven’t heard back from anyone in over an hour.
Manager Andy does nothing and knows nothing about his patients. Javon the director of the floor attempts to help but does not respond to messages. Dr. Turk has been contacted but hasn’t checked in at all. Left multiple messages for Debbie Tedder CNO- no answer. No answer from Alvin Haynes, CMO. No one cares here. Nurses giggle with each other all day. Stay away from this hospital if you want to live!
